What Is a Shaduf

The shaduf is a Long pole balanced on a wooden beam with a wight at one end and a bucket at the other. The sudufe has one or two mane perpus, it depends on how you think of it, any way the mane perpus is to move water from the Nile, a river in Egypt, to crops. They also use it to take water up a hill.

  1. That's cool I also thought they used shadufs to stay away form crocodiles in the Nile
